"My passion for supporting others came from my own personal journey with health and well-being.
I want others to be the best THEY can be!Whatever that looks like for them.
I personally found that using creative arts,expressive therapies & yoga a wonderful,gentle yet powerful way to reconnect with myself.I discovered a deeper understanding of what best supported my health and well being - both inside and out.
I love being outside, in nature and being creative so I was naturally drawn to using alternative forms of therapy .I loved experimenting with different art mediums and the freedom of expressive therapies such as storytelling,writing, journaling, visualisation/mindfulness, yoga and massage.
I realised that by using these therapies I was able to tap into my own creativity and reconnect with my inner self I found these modalities so beneficial for my own personal growth & healing.
I was able to identify my strengths, find clarity, gain a different perspective and create a space for deeper awareness & insight to what was going on for me.I had found my passion and purpose"

About Art & Creative Therapy
ART & CREATIVE THERAPY is a wonderful way to express what is deep within us; it gently allows us to access and discover the unknown ,this therapy gives us a deeper insight into ourselves and how we relate to others.
There is no need to be an artist; the creative art is just a tool to assist the healing process and to use the imagery to further explore, discover and understand ourselves.
It is about learning skills and collecting knowledge to enhance our lives and our wellbeing. It is not about the art, it is all about the process.
The wonder of art and creative therapy is in the freedom to express by using art in its many forms. In our sessions we use many different mediums such as paints, chalk pastels, crayons, markers and clay, just to name a few. We may also collage, draw, cut ,rip , and glue to create images, patterns, symbols and structures that tell your story.
The best thing about art therapy is that ANYONE can do it.We have all the power within us, by using art and creative therapies it gives us the insight and the knowledge to show us the way.

"Throughout my life I have suffered from bouts depression & anxiety. I have seen many different psychologists, but had never found one that I felt comfortable with, or that was able to help me get to the root of my issues. However, that was until I found Art Therapy. In a very subtle & gentle way Andrea has helped me reach & slowly start unraveling & releasing past hurts. I was amazed how such a simple act can be so powerful. There is no intense probing, it all happens in such a natural, fluid way.
Andrea has created such a nurturing & safe environment that I felt secure & relaxed to express myself fully. Art therapy has given me a way to release emotions that I had no other way of releasing.
